Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to work on innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and artificial intelligence models and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to design scalable AI/ML systems that meet the unique needs of the federal client. This position requires strong experience with machine learning algorithms, data processing, cloud platforms, and federal security compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development & Implementation: Design, build, and implement machine learning models for real-world applications. Develop algorithms and models to solve complex problems and optimize processes.
  • Data Processing & Analysis: Work with large datasets, leveraging data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization techniques to extract valuable insights.
  • AI/ML Deployment: Deploy and maintain AI/ML models and algorithms in production environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimization: Continuously improve models and algorithms through iterative testing, tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that AI/ML models and processes comply with federal regulations and security standards. Work with federal security frameworks, such as FISMA, FedRAMP, or NIST.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document AI/ML processes, models, and results. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Required Skills:

  • AI/ML Algorithms: Strong experience in machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, etc.
  • Data Engineering: Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling techniques.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages used for AI/ML development.
  • Machine Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or similar libraries.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including AI/ML services and infrastructure management.
  • Data Analytics & Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with federal security compliance standards such as FISMA, FedRAMP, or NIST.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, particularly in federal or government environments.
  • Certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, or similar AI/ML certifications.
