Data Scientist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Scientist in Brooklyn, NY. Summary: We are looking for a Data Scientist to help optimize customer interactions with our vast catalog of unique items. You will work with analytics, machine learning, and product teams to ensure data accuracy, develop visualizations, analyze trends, and drive data-driven decisions. Duties Include:

• Build dashboards and reports in Looker to track key metrics
• Develop and maintain data rollups for reliable reporting
• As a Data Scientist, you will conduct ad-hoc analysis using SQL and BigQuery
• Analyze A/B test results to measure impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into strategy
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with Looker, SQL, and Python or R
• Strong data visualization and analytics skills
• Ability to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with clickstream data, A/B testing, and marketplaces
• Proficiency in LookML and statistical concepts
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
