Job Overview

Position Description We have an immediate opening for a strong Artificial Intelligence Analyst to support the Navy FLINT Program. The AI Analyst will provide support in analyzing developing supporting code and documentation to support development and sustainment of a decision support tool to allow the Government to seamlessly integrate disparate data to support development of a POM budgeting plan across several organizations. Responsibilities – Applies systems engineering methods and design, develop, implement, and evaluate artificial intelligence algorithms and build scalable production systems that address current and future business needs. – Advocate for and identify creative uses of artificial intelligence and potential artificial intelligence innovations to realize real-world business impact. – Convert the machine learning models into application program interfaces (APIs) so that other applications can use it – Build AI models from scratch and help Navy stakeholders understand what results can be gained from the model – Build data ingestion and data transformation infrastructure – Automate infrastructure that the data science team uses – Perform statistical analysis and tune the results so that the organization can make better-informed decisions – Set up and manage AI development and product infrastructure Required Qualifications – 5+ years in Artificial Intelligence – Familiarity with the Agile Software Design Life Cycle – Familiarity with Department of Navy (DON) command organization and IT infrastructure – Ability to think independently and innovatively – Excellent public speaking and personal interaction skills Location Initially will be working REMOTELY but eventually must reside in one of these 3 cities. US-VA-Norfolk US-SC-Charleston US-VA-Arlington. Period of Performance ASAP – May 2022 (multi-year contract with options) United States citizenship required per government contract. (dual citizenship is not permitted). A completed United States DOD clearance investigation and current, active eligibility is required to perform on this contract, and therefore is required to be considered for a position.
