Responsibilities:Collaborate with business partners to develop predictive analytic solutions that enable data-driven strategic decision-makingUtilizes data science techniques to manipulate sophisticated multidimensional structured and unstructured data sets, identify patterns in raw data, and develop models to predict the likelihood of a future outcome and/or to optimize business solutionsDevelop robust forecast models to support staffing optimizationResearch and develop predictive analytic solutionsLeverage knowledge to create/design solutions for business needsMine large data sets using sophisticated analytical techniques to generate insights and inform business decisionsLead recurrent capacity forecast model performance reviewIdentify and tests hypotheses, ensuring statistical significance, and build predictive models for business applicationTranslate quantitative analyses and findings into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences, providing a clear view into interpreting the dataEnable the business to make clear trade-offs between and among choices, with a reasonable view into likely outcomesEngage in business performance review and planning and provide data-driven analysis to influence business decisionsCustomize analytic solutions to specific client needsResponsible for larger components of projects of moderate-to-high complexityGuide aspects of project design as a technical consultant for the teamRegularly engages with the data science community and participates in cross-functional working groups.Qualifications:The position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics or a related field plus two (2) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Also requires experience with the following:Predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnoses of models including multicolinearity detection, outlier detection, overfitting assessment, ANOVA, and residual analysisProcessing, manipulating, and modeling data including building SQL programs in SAS to extract large amounts of data from relational database and mergingDeveloping linear regression, logistic regression, generalized linear models, and generalized linear mixed effects model through SAS and RPredictive toolset such as SAS, R, MATLAB, SQL, C++Various predictive modeling experiences including Survival and Longitudinal Modeling, Machine Learning, Bayesian Analysis, Spatial Modeling, Experimental Design.To apply, please visit https://jobs.libertymutualgroup.com/, select ‘Search Jobs,’ enter job requisition #114439 in the ‘Job ID or Keywords’ field, and submit resume.
