We take initiative, are fully accountable, build respect and trust, make transparency a must-and engage, include and collaborate at every turn.We take pride in our work and believe in cultivating a work environment that supports and values our greatest asset: our talented employees.Job Description:The Big Data Steward is a core part of the enterprise data management strategy for CoreLogic, with responsibility for delivering the data management program for CoreLogic’s big data platform.Responsibilities include:* Drive issue management related to any quality or customer issues in the big data platform* Define and build an end-to-end data quality program for the big data platform* Support development of the big data platform by supporting resolution of QA issues* Define foundational data components of the big data platform, including taxonomy, hierarchies and other data standards* Enable transparency and adoption of the big data platform by driving the metadata and data cataloging process* Support data onboarding into the big data platform* Partner with upstream data providers to understand data that is landed in the big data platform* Support strategies to ensure appropriate data usage and privacyJob Qualifications:* 5+ years working with big data platforms and related technology* 5+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge of data management, including a strong understanding of data management processes (governance, quality, metadata, privacy)* Strong knowledge of SQL* Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, and ability to work in a matrix* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Excellent analytical skills* Understanding of data architecture and modeling* Ability to adapt to ambiguity and be excited by data explorationCoreLogic offers an empowered work environment that encourages creativity, initiative and professional growth and provides a competitive salary and benefits package.
