Job Overview

Data Intelligence (DI) is looking for a full-time Computer Scientist-Data Engineer with years 2-5 years experience to work In San Diego, CA.. Job Responsibilities Identify future requirements, design, and develop, technical solutions for enterprise applications. This task includes providing development support for the integration of new capabilities into the Enterprise Platforms, Data services, as well as the development and analysis of various technical use cases to support Navy logistics systems. Specific responsibilities include the following activities. Data Engineering Assist the government in developing an Enterprise data pipeline to align data requirements with Enterprise requirements for data acquisition, data driven processes, data analysis and task automation Create and maintain data pipelines and advanced analytics that capture data Build out data pipelines and scripting using Python Implement Data and API Integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.) Provide data ingestion, processing, and storage for large and diverse datasets Data Analysis Assist the government in leveraging the Enterprise IDE to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling and leverage data analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to identify data patterns to improve Navy logistics applications. Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting in the Enterprise Data as a Service (DaaS) Collaborate with stakeholders and obtain buy-in by providing easy-to-understand explanations of data analysis through reports and visual dashboards that deliver high-value insights Design algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go, and other programming languages Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data Improve the quality of data use and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions Required SkillsExperience 2+ years of experience with Data Engineering, Data Quality, DaaS, Big Data 2+ years of experience with Python for data preparationmanipulation, other languages such as R, C++, JavaScript, and Go to address Big Data analysis 2+ years of experience with predictive and prescriptive modeling, data analytics, statistical methods 2+ years of experience developingcustomizing data visualizations 1+ years of experience with Agile development, DevOps principles Desired Experience 1+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry Experience with the Navyrsquos NOBLE FoS Agile software development, Java Travel for this position will be 75 contractor site 25 government site.
