Data Engineer (Tableau) Primary Location Cincinnati, Ohio V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Data Engineer (Tableau) for our premier client Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a contract position in banking industry. WHAT YOUrsquoLL NEED Education and Experience raquo Proficient in Tableau Understands SAS and how data is imported from SAS to Tableau Bacheloras degree At least 2 years of data engineering experience At least 1 year of experience working with big data technologies including Spark, Cassandra, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or MongoDB At least 1 year of experience in Java, Scala, Python, or SQL Two years data engineering experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities raquo Proficient in Tableau. WHAT YOUrsquoLL DO Job Responsibilities Take existing Tableau reports and enhance them with additional visibility. Take data from SAS and create new Tableau reports, graphs, etc. Combine data from different Information Security functions to create new Tableau reports to provide additional insight. Develop means of recreating executive reporting views so that re-creation of reporting outside of Tableau is no longer necessary. Assist Lead Data Engineering in improving processes and data quality.
