Job Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a data scientist to help inform and improve the bank’s digital data investments. Our goal is to use data analytics and predictive modeling to test, evaluate, and optimize our digital marketing campaigns, as well as understand the behavior of the website visitors. A typical day would involve analysis to inform our digital media mix, attribution and testing agenda.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Derive insights from data and apply advanced statistical methods to model user behavior, media performance, and attribution
  • Leverage multiple modeling techniques from regression to classification to segmentation
  • Deploy ML solutions (ie – new bidding models ) into production: supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement and deep learning
  • Lead and develop marketing experiments to create and optimize campaigns, using a variety of causal inference techniques
  • Develop custom approaches to audie

  • Build and deploy machine learning models including regression, classification, segmentation, supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement and deep learning models.
  • Lead and develop marketing experiments to create and optimize campaigns, using a variety of causal inference techniques (A/B testing, synthetic control, ATE)
  • Develop custom approaches to audience segmentation, identification, and testing for new digital advertising channels
  • Defines digital data pipelines and reporting infrastructure for the BI and marketing stakeholders to drive measurable results through data-informed insights
  • Communicate analytical approaches and results to non-technical audiences

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
  • BS or MS degree in a quantitative field (e.g.: statistics, economics, computer science)
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio)
  • Understanding of digital media (search, display, social) and CRM (email, push, notifications)
  • Previous experience analyzing large datasets and distilling results to build upon stakeholder understanding
  • Skilled in SQL, R, Python, and/or statistical methods to analyze behavioral data
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Tag management experience: Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc
  • Web Analytics experience: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (360, Premium, Firebase)
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with agile product/project development
