Overview PK has multiple openings for the position of Data Scientist based out of its U.S. headquarters in Omaha, NE. Travel andor relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. is required. Responsibilities The position of Data Scientist will be responsible for developing end-to-end machine learning and data mining framework built on top of Spark leveraging big data to simplify the lifecycle of building enterprise grade predictive models. Automate Feature engineering tasks to organization standards within framework includes numerical, categorical binning, low variance filter, feature reduction by backward selection and principal component analysis. Develop and published R Package to R Open source package community CRAN for migration and deployment of applications. Develop Plumber API’s for Machine learning models for integration with downstream applications. Qualifications The position of Data Scientist requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or any technicalanalytical field that is closely related to the specialty, plus one (1) year of experience in an ITComputer-related position . Additionally, the position requires one (1) year of experience with the following data modeling, mapping, validation, and deployment of applications to various environments utilizing ERWIN Data Modeler, pgAdminIII, PostgreSQL, HDFS, Tableau, R, and Python.
