This position will serve as a member of the Player Healthand Safety team within the NFL. Reporting to the Senior Vice President ofPH&S, the individual will oversee the analysis of all data connected to thegame and injuries (players, injuries, equipment, biomechanics, tracking, etc.).The ideal candidate should be able to process large quantities offootball-specific data and injury data to perform trend analysis, uncoverpatterns, and provide tangible conclusions; as well as help the departmentsupport, inform and/or challenge critical strategy and policy decisions.   • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate and process data for analysis of theoverall player safety of the game.
  • Analyze Tracking Stats for player game andpractice tracking data for macro-level trends.
  • Employ software packages that leverage modelsand computer vision to classify and tag injuries.
  • Track and report key football data, demographicsand trends across all levels of football.
  • Produce compelling, illustrative anduser-friendly (concise, informative) reports from existing databases of future,current and former players.
  • Provide support to existing and on-goingprojects, including but not limited to, annual statistical reports, statisticalanalysis of playing rules proposals, etc.
  • Provide support across the department, includingad hoc requests from internal business units.
  • Supervise a small team of external vendors.
