Job Description”Over 300 million people’s lives could be positively impacted by the newly expanded Population Health Account Management team. Patients do not always have access to medicines that can be life changing. This team is at the front line to help expand access to our medications with new focus and determination to fulfill our vision of making medications more accessible to patients”.This role serves two broad purposes: (1) To lead Real World Evidence (RWE) & Data Science team to support rigorous and customer-centric RWE generation and analyses across US pharma portfolio (2) To lead executing a novel Data Warehouse project supporting Population Health goals at Novartis and partnering organizations.Your Responsibilities:1. Leading RWE & Data Science team. This team consists of data scientists, real world data analysts and programmers, who generate rigorous RWE and payer/Systems of Care (SOCs)-related data analyses supporting HEOR and Medical Units (MUs) across portfolio. Champion and enable robust, innovative and customer-centric RWE in CDMA data generation efforts across portfolio. Partner with HEOR therapy area (TA) teams, MUs and other functions to develop and/or execute processes to ensure rigor, quality, credibility and transparency of internally generated RWE. Encourage and enable advanced and innovative research methods and novel data sources for efficiency and impact. 2. Building a Data Warehouse through partnership with SOCs. Assume a primary responsibility for constructing a Data Warehouse including shaping/executing necessary processes/contracts; working with participating SOCs to enable periodic transfer of deidentified patient-level data for defined patient populations; overseeing the analyses of the collected data to meet CDMA Medical objectives and to help SOCs achieve their Population Health goals; and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance throughout this data sharing engagement with participating SOCs. 3. SOC Engagement – Provide robust analytical support to Population Health Account Management (PHAM) teams as they engage with SOCs to advance shared Population Health goals. This includes tapping into large claims and other national data as well as the SOC data contained in the new Data Warehouse for assessing gaps and monitoring progress on key Population Health goals..4. Driving Patient/Customer Centricity in Medical Strategy & Execution – Work with HEOR, Medical Access and Market Access, among other collaborators, to shape, enable and drive patient/customer-centricity in all Population Health-related research and other activities supporting pipeline and inline products.5. Business Partnering – Effectively partner with internal stakeholders (HEOR TA teams, Medical Access, PHAM teams, Market Access, MUs, Global teams, etc.) at strategic and tactical levels to generate and disseminate robust RWE and real world analyses in support of a broad set of stakeholders including payers and SOCs.
