Floor Support Supervisor – 2nd Shift – Tool Room – Kit Cage – Ai with Security Clearance

Job Overview

Description:This position is for a Floor Support Supervisor position. This position will oversee the daily activities of the production Tool Room and Kit Cages. This position will report directly to the Fixed Wing Planning and Production Control Manager and will have 18 direct reports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising day to day activities of the floor support employees, problem solving and process improvement for the tool room and kit cages, managing the floor support schedule to include any over time and de-conflicting schedule conflicts, briefing upper management on problems and improvement initiatives, daily interactions with upper level management, enforcing disciplinary actions, assigning tasks and expectations, performing internal audits for process compliance in the tool room and kit cages. This position’s shifts may fluctuate to include a split shift between first and second shift.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior leadership/supervisory experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Microsoft Office experience particularly in Excel and Outlook
Thorough understanding of process compliance and ability to strictly enforce policies and procedures Strong decision making
Ability to work independently to identify problems and opportunities for improvement
Desired Skills:
Kit Cage or Tool Room experience
Experience supporting a production line
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
SAP experience
TCMAX experience
