iTalent Digital is seeking a Data Analyst to join our technology practice group. This engagement will be based in Austin, Texas and offers the right individual an opportunity to cultivate your skills and expertise in being a core member within the Headcount Operations & Insights team of a cutting edge leader in the online social media and social networking space. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated self-starter, energetic, and analytical. The ideal candidate will will work cross-functionally with several teams at a social media company (including recruiting insights, people analytics, people engineering, etc.) with the objective of driving insights and supporting the data needs of the team. A successful candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, thorough understanding of databases and data visualization, ability to synthesize and make recommendations based on imperfect data from multiple sources, strong partner and communication skills, and a background in data-driven decision-making. The candidate must be intellectually curious, learn quickly, and be able to move fast while maintaining focus on high-impact projects.This position is a W2 role with long-term potential in Austin, Texas.Required qualifications and skillsAnalyze headcount and recruiting data establishing metrics, identifying trends, evaluating effectiveness of organizational hiring plans, and measuring ROIDevelop new and iterate on existing dashboards and reporting tools to automate reporting, scale the headcount management program, and drive actionable insights for stakeholders and leadershipDraft, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and generate ad-hoc reports as requiredCommunicate data integrity issues and process gapsConduct analysis of business processes, functional requirements, and program goalsEvaluate additional data needs and recommend appropriate system changes or enhancements to meet those needsEstablish and maintain relationships to continually improve collaboration with key partners, including recruiting insights, people analytics, people engineering, and other related teams · &n”}–>Preferred qualifications and skills· 3+ years of work experience in People Analytics, Recruiting Operations and/or Data Operations· 3+ years of experience in SQL (create, maintain, and improve data sets, pipelines and reporting)· Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)· Experience with Excel· Demonstrated experience problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data Bachelor’s degree in an ana”}–>EducationBachelor’s degree in an analytical field or relevant experienceOu”}–>Company descriptionOur client is a leader in the online social media and social networking space.
