Your new role

My client are recruiting for a legal contract administrator to assist the legal team. As Contracts Administrator, you will provide general legal support for the rapidly growing business activities of a leading technology company specialising in cloud-based artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will work on a range of contracts and will support fellow team members in the Legal department during peak period with an optimistic and positive approach. You will have the organisation, skills, drive and flexibility to support a dynamic global business, on multiple fronts. You will be able to support our company values which are: own it, customer obsessed, let the data decide, and teamwork makes the dream work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate these competencies.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful you will need to be able to achieve the following;


review documents with a high-attention to detail and at a fast pace;
ensure that documentation prepared complies with Databricks' business processes and approvals;
efficiently provide the required contractual assistance to support the business at end of quarter;
prioritize and manage time and internal client expectations in the face of competing demands;
provide assistance to other members of the legal department as directed in support of the management of contracts; and
manage tasks and collaborate with fellow team members and internal customers in a friendly and supportive manner.

bachelor's degree or relevant work experience;
relevant experience at a top law firm and/or in-house contracts/legal department (a combination of both is a plus);
good working knowledge and drafting experience;
ability to be agile and multi-task in a fast pace environment;
ability to quickly master new applications – experience with Microsoft Office Packages, Gmail, DocuSign, Salesforce, and contract management systems a plus;
basic understanding of contracts, particularly order forms, commercial contracts and business approval processes (knowledge of technology contracts – saas – a bonus).
