As a Machine Learning Engineer on the Sponsored Products Allocation and Pricing Team, you’ll work with Product Managers, Economists and Applied Scientists to design and build mechanisms to optimize how the auction makes trade-offs between publisher, advertiser and shopper concerns. You’ll build scalable and performant ML and optimization infrastructure and simulation tools to power a multi-billion dollar ad program.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical and self-driven. They will be able to handle a high degree of ambiguity. They can identify problems, design and implement solutions and monitor and maintain them.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working with high-performance scalable systems
· Experience in online advertising
· 5+ years of industry experience
· MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
