And when we fulfill our purpose and promise to the world, we also fulfill another goal: a business that generates sustainable global financial growth from which success and prosperity for our company, employees and investors naturally follow.Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining, correcting and auditing Item Master in accordance to Master Data Collection process.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.* Audit, evaluate and implement policies and procedures related to the roles and responsibilities of proper product/part configuration throughout the organization cross divisions.* Analyze business processes and promotes continuous process improvement.* Audits for missing operating data in support of material, capacity planning and procurement.* Coordinate with R&D, Operations, and the Quality organizations to ensure that all FDA and production requirements are satisfied with respect to the item control systems.* Leads cross-functional, cross-division teams in support of projects.* Coordinates with Marketing Managers, Customer Service and creates/maintains Sales BOM structures.* Performs audit functions for Item Master, Formulas, Routings, Recipes, ASCP data.* Product cost accounting fundamentals and labor reporting.* Support the development of processes, procedures, and reporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Provide input into the monthly S&OP supply review. Support creation of presentation materials in addition to presenting key supply chain metrics to a cross functional team.* Improve, develop, and implement planning and reporting tools through the use of ERP (Oracle), MS Excel, QlikView/QlikSense, and other technologies to improve inventory management, production planning, scheduling, and capacity assessments.* Evaluates and processes change orders input into the MRP/ERP system.* Serves as liaison between Operations and Finance on all product/part cost related matters.* Establishes new master records and maintains existing item master records.* Build Salesforce CPQ solutions to support business process.* Configures Salesforce CPQ bundles features, options, option constraints, configuration attributes, product rules and price rules.* Maintains and tracks the data integrity of the MRP and Salesforce system. Educates and guides personnel in new processes.* Establishes procedures between internal customers related to MRP system use.* Educate and train appropriate personnel such as, but not limited to, Planning, Production, QC, and Technical Support personnel in new processes.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:* Advanced understanding of biotech manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product development, and material handling.* Advance knowledge of BI tools (e.g. PowerBI), spreadsheet, databases, word processing and flow-charting computer programs including software macros development.* Advanced knowledge of Oracle OPM (item master, recipes, routings, formulas, ASCP, product cost), Agile PLM (item and change order creation, NCE investigation), and basic knowledge of Salesforce CPQ.* Comprehension of standard biotech manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product development, and material handling procedures is essential.* Actions taken by employees in this position have financial impact on end results of the department and the company.Education/ExperienceTypically requires BA or BS and 8-10 years related experience preferably in physical or biological science, or equivalent.The required skills, knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of 8 years of industry experience in a GMP environment or similarly regulated environment.Comprehension of standard biotech manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product development, and material handling procedures is essential.Knowledge of Six-Sigma and Lean methodologies.Agency and Third Party Recruiter Notice:Agencies that submit a resume to Hologic must have a current executed Hologic Agency Agreement executed by a member of the Human Resource Department.
