The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join our growing and dynamic team based in our Head office in Exeter, reporting directly to the CEO. Our culture and office environment is important to us and we’re looking for a confident and conscientious individual to keep the office and us in order. 

The successful candidate will take on a varied role in a fast-paced environment. You will have a great attitude with excellent administrative and communication skills, and able to take responsibility for running the office and supporting the senior management team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

The key responsibilities of an Office Manager include, but are not limited to:

Supporting the CEO with regard to diary planning, reservations and administration; and supporting the CFO with regard to purchasing invoices, sales invoices and expenses
Assist with social media, web content and marketing; and in preparing for pitches, client meetings and ad-hoc tasks
Taking responsibility for travel logistics and reservations
Managing reception and welcoming clients and visitors
Answering and transferring calls
Keeping the office in good working order and improving office processes
Managing relationships with office suppliers
Organising induction packs and requirements for new starters
Maintaining and updating staff contact details and records
Arranging company-wide events and celebrations

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Office Manager:

Previous experience in a similar PA/office management role; experience in marketing and/or events is desirable but not essential
A relevant degree in business administration, marketing or related role is desirable
Confident IT skills including email, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; experience of QuickBooks is also desirable – however, training can be given
Outstanding organisation, communication and planning skills, able to work on own initiative and juggle a multitude of tasks with excellent attention to detail
A flexible and adaptable individual with a positive, confident and proactive approach
