Title RPA Project Lead Location Vernon Hills, Illinois Engagement Contract-to-Hire Summary This role will report to the Director of IT Delivery and Automation and facilitate the delivery of robotic process automation (RPA) projects through all SDLC phases. Responsibilities will include project management, resource planning, stakeholder management, and communication planning. Expected to meet on-time and on-budget project goals while providing transparent metrics and documentation. Will be empowered to work closely with the staff of the Automation Center of Excellence during project re-engineering review and making recommendations for implementation. Responsibilities Develops strategies and directs teams ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, schedule and resource budgets. Proactively aims to achieve personal and team utilization targets. Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders as required. Responsible for managing all phases of the process automation project life cycle as well as project team management and budget administration. Assist stakeholders and managers in the construction of business cases and opportunity identification efforts to support the further adoption of RPA solutions throughout the organization. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained, ensuring regular and accurate communication to stakeholders, consistent with the methods in use. Uses metrics and project plans to assess the success of the projects. Reports project performance to stakeholders and management. Builds and maintains reports on RPA program performance to stakeholders and management. Tracks resources and assures deliverables are met, negotiates effectively for key resources, and screens and selects team members. Leads knowledge transfer and project postmortem for lessons learned and improving best practices. Identifies, quantifies and manages issues impacting delivery of projects. Establishes clear goals and priorities needed to assess performance. Participate in all required and recommended training and demonstrates attained knowledge. Actively pursues and satisfactorily completes development plans, such as LEAN, Six Sigma, Project Management, Efficiency, etc. Required Skills Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience Must have minimum 2 years of project management experience Process documentation and improvement experience Experience managing vendor led projects Have excellent planning, problem solving, project management and leadership skill Understand IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc) Leadership skills to inspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence Understand the drivers of value, including the ability to size and prioritize large scale initiatives across businesses and functions Self-motivated and able to take initiative with minimum need of supervision Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Organized and methodical, but can handle change in stride High emotional IQ Demonstrated willingness to dive into the details to guide projects to completion Insatiable work ethic Prior experience in leading similar projects in robotics process automation (i.e. Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere) Quality andor Lean Six Sigma experience preferred Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes One or more industry certification e.g. PMP, Prince2 etc. Demonstrable experience in programming (including scripting coding), SQL and relational databases, andor application development, Knowledge of financial processes Symitar engineering or other financial industry core platform experience is a plusRPA Project Lead 1
