5-8 years of experience in web or product analytics decision support and website optimization for online/ecommerce businesses.
Deep knowledge of web analytics and tagging.
Subject matter expertise with clickstream data and SQL is a must.
Understanding of complex web ecosystems, best practices and ability to put this knowledge into action.
Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.
Excellent problem solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking.
Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Experience with Tableau or another reporting solution a plus.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, finance, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
How you will lead
Partner with product managers and engineering to enable decision support and key insights through web tracking metrics.
Define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards leveraging Tableau or other data visualization tools.
Deliver key metrics, reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses with interpretation, contributing to the development of hypotheses and actions.
Work with the stakeholders to develop learning plans with recommendations of analytics approaches to address questions or validate hypotheses.
Generate follow-up questions with stakeholders, refine data findings and interpret results to drive data-based insights.
Answer ad-hoc analytic questions and train users to self-serve standard reports leveraging Excel or other data visualization tools.
Ensure site tagging is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new features, initiatives and product releases.
Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution.
