OverviewGuidehouse is a leading management consulting firm serving the public and commercial markets.  We guide our clients forward towards new futures that build trust in society and your professional skills along the journey.  Join us at Guidehouse.ResponsibilitiesA Systems / Data Analyst consults with investigative and litigation teams regarding technical approaches and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets, identifying relationships and key data points to build a defensible strategy in support of investigative and litigation matters. May perform entire range of technical support, including data file conversions, program validations, ETL and testing, etc. Performs systems evaluations. Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports, data visualization and in oral presentations. Ensures successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control. Prepares system/technical documentation. Works under configuration management plan. Performs and supervises the technical aspects of the tasks.  QualificationsRequired:Must be able to obtain MBI clearance (Moderate Risk Background Investigation)US Citizen Must be a critical thinker and demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in doing the work on the systems being used, with usually at least five years of experience of these systems and with focus in the area of data analysis, transformation and reporting.Must have exceptional communication skills and ability to translate technical strategies to investigative and litigation teams on how to best use the data. Requires broad knowledge of the Government’s IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. AKnowledge of or demonstrated interest and aptitude for learning data analysis tools and methodologiesApply available advanced analytic tools to provide customized solutions to a variety of investigations to minimize review time.Identify and organize relevant documents using complex metadata filters and visualization tools.Ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important, as will the demonstrated ability to analyze the attorneys’ needs, and to design and implement a whole system solution responsive to those needs.Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.Desired:At least 5 years of experience with data analysis and analytic tools such as Palantir, Tableau, Acumen Medicare/Medicaid database analysis tool, or BrainSpace is highly desirable.Use of eDiscovery review platforms such as Concordance, Relativity or equivalent and facilitate transformation of data from analytical tools to these platforms is highly desirableExperience in a litigation support environment extremely helpful. Perform ETL (extract, transform, and load) to both processed and native files, in both structured and unstructured format, to illuminate meaningful connections and correlations among vast data sets.Prepare chronologies, presentations, and other visual aids based on the review and identification of data and information.
