Position Overview:

As the Software Dev Engineer, Machine Learning, you will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables with the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services. You will also partner with scientists and other engineers to help invent, implement, and connect sophisticated algorithms to our cloud-based engines. Prior domain knowledge including AI, ML, and NLU is a preferred. Strong motivation to learn ML, AI and NLU is critical for successful candidates.

Responsibilities:

Design and build large scaled, high quality AI/ML Software Systems

Develop AI/ML solutions and algorithms with Data Scientists for Expedia’s business requirements

Strive for Engineering Excellence and Operational Excellence

Competencies:

Strong Software Design and Development Skills

AI/ML background

Great team player and strong communication skills

Experience and Qualification:

Master or above in Computer Science or a related Engineering field

2+ years Software Design, Development and Testing experience

Experience in building Distributed Systems with Cloud Infrastructure(AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)

Experience with AI, Machine Learning and Big Data

Effective written and speaking communication in English
