As a Software Engineering Intern, You Will

    • Create cutting-edge web and mobile applications for medical technologies
    • Build, monitor, and manage a distributed system supporting medical applications
    • Translate deep learning models into real-world products for early breast cancer detection

Required Experience

    • 1+ years of backend development experience and API creation (rest apis, rpc, etc)
    • 1+ years with Python
    • Experience designing and creating software systems
    • Ability to write networked servers
    • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience

    • Experience with datastores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
    • Devops technologies (eg Docker/Terraform/Packer)
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers
    • ZeroMQ


  • Image data experience
  • Experience working with protected health information (PHI) and building HIPAA-compliant systems
  • Prior experience in medical-related product development
