Solar Data Analyst Contract-to-Hire Overview This team specializes in AIoT, Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Machine Learning to develop advanced domain-specific software applications focused on asset optimization, performance and health monitoring, and control systems for Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage. The solution enables the service overlay on asset infrastructures to support next generation of Virtual Power Plants (VPP), smart grid, smart cities, smart buildings, health and human safety, and environmental protection and stewardship. Job Description Responsibilities The individual will be part of the North America Solar Solution and Delivery team to learn and contribute in the following areas Become familiar with client s AIoT Cloud platform, SaaS solar applications, and value-add services Participate in solution design, implementation, and delivery of solar projects using internal workflows, onboarding data tools, and quality procedures Review and extract relevant information from solar facilities as-built drawings, performance model, engineering reports, and site physical topology Ensure timely delivery and schedule-based project execution towards Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and project sign off Write data transformation scripts in Python and manipulate data in Excel and CSV files as required to support project deliverables Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot to resolve issues Work independently and creatively as well as collaboratively across platform, domain, application, and functional teams including software development, engineering, analytics, IT, and customer technical support Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in renewable energy, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related field 1+ years of relevant work experience in the solar industry, ideally in electrical design, data acquisition systems, monitoring services, performance analytics and optimization, data analysis and report generation Strong knowledge of PV system performance fundamentals, including plant, inverter, tracker, and module-level operational behaviors Ability to read PV solar electrical design documents, single-line diagrams, and networking diagrams Familiar with NREL SAM, PVWatts, or PVsyst Experience querying and scripting with APIs, including SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON Proficiency in data handling and statistical analysis Important Competencies Self-driven and responsible at working with, between, and among internal and external customers and stakeholders Excellent technical communication skills Accountable, reliable, result-oriented, fast learner, and creative thinkerSolar Data Analyst 1
