About the teamThe Zillow Group People Analytics team is team of skilled data professionals that collaborates heavily across the People Org (Including HRBPs, HR Operation & Rewards, Learning & Development, Community & Culture and Recruiting) and related partners (e.g., Analytics, Finance), to bring to light people and culture insights to guide evidence-based decisions for Zillow Group.About the roleThe Sr. People Analytics Data Scientist will report to the Sr. Manager, People Analytics to support the strategy and operations of the People Analytics function. This role supports the People Analytics function and acts as a consultant to both HR and to business management. In this role you will:* Collaborate with engineers on data visualization methods and use data to tell stories about teams and environments.* Own process of Monthly Business Review of people data, driving data analysis and insights for leadership teams.* Collaborate and develop systems of measurement centering on employee efficiency.* Collaborate across multiple centers of excellence and senior business partners to craft solutions to business needs.* Collaborate and advise on systems to measure the health of programs and initiatives across the People org.* Advise on data collection methodologies and consult with product teams in planning new tools and products.Who you are* 5+ years proven experience in workforce analytics, business analytics, data science, or related experience.* Experience using and driving insights out of passive employee data sources such as instant messaging, email, and meeting platforms.* Demonstrated analytical thinking and experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data using statistical tools (Minitab, SPSS, R, etc.)* Ability to consult and derive clarity from ambiguity.* Perform modeling/analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to understand and predict employee and business behaviors (inferential statistics, multivariate models, research and survey design)* Understands the business and able to translate business problems to quantifiable solutions as it relates to the workforce and our talent.* Ability to work with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment.Get to know usZillow Group houses the largest portfolio of real estate brands on mobile and the web.
