Tech Lead – progress into CTO | Tech 4 Good Start-up Bristol


Working with a really cool start-up in Bath who have built a continuous improvement platform using Artificial Intelligence and allows people to access it through mobile or web improvement.
They have secured investment through innovate UK (the largest grant ever awarded to a UK company) They also have private investors too.

What they do in human terms: You know a survey monkey which drops into your inbox or one of those 'anonymous' forms you have to fill in at work. We'll their product protects data and then it will produce recommendations for coaching, wellbeing or training in a similar way Netflix recommends tv shows for you – cool ay!
They have used 9 million data points and then codified it, backed by lots of research and science. They have a solid two-year workload in place and loads to do. This new role is for someone who has ambitions to become a CTO or is already working as one but still is working closely with the development

You'll be responsible for:

Running development and the team of 6
Following and setting architectural guidelines
Running sprint planning and daily stand ups
You'll be hands on yourself and developing various parts of the system
Skillset wise: A background in Python (Django or Flask) and Javascript (any framework)
Their product is rolling out globally to big organisations so you will understand the importance of scaling
They are looking for someone who loves technology, is a do'er and wants to explore all the latest tech and tools – an interest in AI is a big plus and then the ambition to grow into a much bigger role.

You will be joining right at the start, a pretty unique opportunity to get stuck in and make it your own.
