Senior Unity Engineer opportunity to join a Global AI Software Solutions company near Watford. You will be joining the AI & services division leveraging cutting edge simulator and AI technology and tools for the automation of World Building.
5 years hands on experience with Unity's Scripting API and the commitment to keep up to speed with the very changing features of Unity. Ability to extend or modify the core behaviours of Unity where needed.
Experience in C, C++, C#. Comfortable in Windows or Linux.
A strong interest in creating behaviourally driven, self-governing worlds.
Ability to give leadership in a meritocratic peer to peer environment
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a distributed team. Description
You will take responsibility for implementation of major parts of the automated scene generation part of the simulator. You will propose and implement solutions for product requirements in response to technical market requirements and lead the efforts of junior engineers and provide mentoring where necessary.
Produce development plans for your work and track the execution of the design work to the plan.
Experience and Education
5 years direct, hands-on experience with Unity's scripting API.
2 of technical leadership experience in a relevant field.
Good technical degree (BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng) in computer science or equivalent experience
You will be joining the company on the ground floor and you will be a key part of the UK development team. You will be implementing major parts of the automated scene generation part of the simulator. You will be creating development plans for your work, alongside tracking the execution of the design work to the plan.
