This role will extend beyond traditional marketing science and incorporate data science and data engineering skills, to work with both structured and unstructured data sources and provide insights to business-critical decisions. The right fit will play a key role along side Data Operations leaders to continue to evolve the Data Science and Analytics function.Responsibilities* Support Research Science & Advanced Analytics team, Business Advisory, Research Excellence in client discussions and proposal preparation related to Data Science, Analytics and Advanced Research Methodologies* Apply advanced analytics to client needs and proposal opportunities in a creative way.* Coach, train, and mentor the Data Science and Analytical Services team on advanced methods* Text Analytics and Social Media monitoring* Stay up to date on latest methodologies and technologies and provide thought leadership that will drive innovation, adopt modern methods, maximize technology and data integrationQualifications* Bachelor’s Degree in highly numerate or scientific subject* Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred* 8+ years’ experience in tech-enabled marketing insights environment, in data analysis, market research and methodology* Experience managing organization-wide projects within tech-enabled marketing insights environment* Management experience preferred but not required* Detailed knowledge of various research methodologies, sampling design, data weighting methods, data integration, advanced analytical methods* Expertise in data analysis, drawing insights relative to client’s business needs, and communicating insights* Proficiency in a selection of modern data analysis tools, such as SPSS, R, Python, SQL* Experienced in using modern research methods, such as Discrete Choice, Bayesian and Predictive Methods* Familiar with recent advances in data science and analysis, including Machine Learning* Familiar with modern database technologies and their applications* Comfortable with learning and applying new technologies and methods* Great interpersonal and communication skills* Strong ability to bridge commercial needs with advanced methods to tackle business problems* Demonstrates a high level of client service* Familiarity with structured and unstructured data sources and how to apply them to first party sources to create more value and insight* Ability to manage project deadlines, budgets, and scope* Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues* Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines* Strong organization skills* Ability to work through complex issues and take all factors large and small into account when making decisions* Openly communicates with internal teams and partner teams to promote continuous improvement
