And you will do it in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning and rewards innovation.Responsibilities*Must be able to relocate to Spartanburg, SCJob Description – Essential FunctionsIdentify the appropriate goals for profitability and/or customer satisfaction Continuously refine and implement the data science roadmap based on new learnings – both internal and external Deliver both short and long-term goals in a fluid environment Refine and improve models and processes with appropriate controls so they are robust and well documented for internal and external examination Develop and retain talented associates Identify team needs, talent and tools, and secure the resources needed Influence and work with colleagues in IT, Operations, Finance and others to improve organizational performance Deep technical background and application of data science including machine learning, experimentation and statistics for structured and unstructured data Experience working with big data, cloud-based environments and Agile methodologies MS in quantitative field preferred QualificationsBasic QualificationsMasters and/or PhD Degree in Statistics-related field (Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, etc.)4+ years of experience in building, implementing and monitoring models 2+ years of people management/leadershipWell versed in modeling fundamentals and experience building models using GAM, trees, boosting, splines, etc.  Knowledgeable in RUnderstands legal requirements for modelingPreferred qualifications2+ years of experience in Risk management and/or Financial Services8+ years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving 5+ years of experience in People managementExcellent written, oral and influential communications skills and the ability to drive to agreement with good negotiation skillsAuto finance experienceJob SummaryID: 2019-2692
