About the job

We're seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our growing team developing FDA-regulated AI medical imaging software. Our stack includes Python/Django and Kubernetes, with ongoing cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.

Role & Responsibilities:• Lead and grow engineering team (currently 4, expanding to 7)

• Ensure smooth scaling of our production systems

• Oversee cloud infrastructure and migration initiatives

• Implement engineering best practices including daily standups and Jira management

• Drive technical decisions for new FDA product launches

Required Skills & Experience:• Strong full-stack development background with Python/Django

• Proven experience with AWS and GCP cloud architecture

• Kubernetes expertise

• Familiarity with frontend development

• Track record of leading and growing engineering teams

• Experience scaling production systems

• Comfortable working longer hours when needed to complete critical tasks

• Must be a self-starter who can work independently
