Role Overview: We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in onboarding customers and preparing their data for machine learning applications. You will work closely with customer success, data engineering, and ML teams to help transform raw data into high-quality inputs that can power predictive models and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with customer success teams to understand and guide client data needs during onboarding.
Clean, transform, and validate large datasets, ensuring accuracy and readiness for machine learning workflows.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and quality issues before model deployment.
Develop and maintain scalable data preparation processes and pipelines, utilizing SQL and relevant ETL tools.
Work alongside machine learning engineers to ensure data structures meet modeling requirements.
Provide insights and recommendations based on customer data, contributing to improved product and process enhancements.
Document data transformation and preparation procedures, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in data analysis, data wrangling, or data engineering, ideally in a customer-focused or SaaS environment.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation; experience with Python is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and experience handling large datasets.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have familiarity with ETL tools and data transformation platforms, such as DBT and Apache Airflow, along with cloud environments like Google Cloud and AWS. Familiarity with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran) and version control (e.g., Git) is also a plus.
