Akkodis is seeking a Direct Hire Data Scientist for our client based in Arlington VA. The client is looking for someone with SaaS experience with QSR /Restaurant services background
Salary Range: $70K-$80K per annum. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a relevant field.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in several of the following areas: machine learning, statistics, optimization, regression modeling, time series modeling, deep learning, generative AI, causal inference, experimentation.
1-3 years of experience with a scripting language (Python preferred).
Knowledge of statistical analysis packages (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Statsmodels, matplotlib, and PyTorch).
Proficiency with relational database concepts, SQL, and a working knowledge of ETL processes.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of reporting packages (such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Business Objects) is preferred.
Demonstrated desire to learn new skills.
