Job Opportunity: ML Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Onsite, 5 days per week in South San Francisco

About the Role
As an ML Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Own the data infrastructure for extracting structured content from a large-scale document ingestion pipeline using LLMs and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Build and refine an evaluation framework to measure and identify errors in the data pipeline.
- Experiment and innovate by implementing new methods to enhance data retrieval and extraction performance.
- Train predictive models on structured data assets, while identifying new valuable signals for customers.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their data needs, explain the company’s approach, and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
- 4+ years of industry experience.
- A strong background as a software engineer with experience in machine learning infrastructure or evaluation systems.
Preferred Experience:
- Working with LLMs, particularly LLM evaluations.
- Training and fine-tuning deep learning models or LLMs.
- Experience at a high-growth startup.
- A demonstrated interest in life sciences, biology, or biotechnology, especially in applying ML to solve domain-specific problems.
