The Role
As a Data Scientist at Elementus, you will play a central role in building and enhancing our blockchain analytics products. You’ll work on complex data modeling, entity attribution, and graph-based solutions, partnering cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
- Innovate: Identify opportunities where data models can unlock new insights into blockchain ecosystems and financial risks.
- Build Models: Design and improve entity attribution models and other proprietary solutions for blockchain data analysis.
- Collaborate: Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver projects on time and drive product innovation.
- Optimize Systems: Maintain and enhance the operational toolbox for the data science team.
- Analyze & Prototype: Apply advanced statistical methods, graph algorithms, and machine learning to solve challenging problems.
- Explore & Iterate: Continuously experiment with new tools, data sources, and methodologies to refine analytical models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning role.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python/Pandas, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java).
- Experience working with SQL/No-SQL databases; interest in exploring graph databases is a plus.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its data structures.
- Demonstrated ability to read white papers, replicate results, and propose improvements.
- Hands-on experience developing and applying graph-based algorithms to large-scale data.
- Degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science).

Compensation
$155K-$170K base salary, plus equity and a full range of medical benefits.
This range is based on the role, experience, and New York City market standards, in compliance with local regulations.
