About the Position:
We are seeking a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Engineer with 2+ years of experience (or equivalent) in developing innovative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in conducting advanced research, designing production-ready applications, and optimizing vision systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires strong expertise in Python (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV) and proficiency in scalable data processing for images, videos, and multimodal datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research to develop and implement innovative computer vision and deep learning algorithms
- Optimize existing on-device and on-premises vision and deep learning software for maximum performance and efficiency
- Design and build production-ready vision and deep learning applications to meet diverse internal and external requirements
- Develop scalable systems to process, organize, and analyze large datasets, including images, videos, and IMU data
- Document research findings, system designs, and software implementations to ensure clarity and reproducibility
- Integrate, test, and deploy high-performance solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to innovate and solve complex problems
Requirements
Qualifications
- Graduate degree, or at least 2 years of experience (or equivalent), in computer vision, deep learning, or related fields
- Strong foundational knowledge in deep learning, computer vision, data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and computer systems architecture
- In-depth understanding of the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning technologies, and their practical applications
- Proven ability to work with raw, real-world datasets, transforming theoretical concepts into effective solutions
- Strong software development skills to design, implement, validate, and iterate on solutions efficiently
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks/libraries such as PyTorch, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Matplotlib. Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, C/C++, and Bash are nice to have
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Expertise in deep learning models for images, videos, and time-series data
- Hands-on experience with large-scale image search and recommendation systems
- Proficiency in developing software for multimodal data processing
- Experience with computer vision applications for resource-constrained devices
- Familiarity with multiple-view geometry in computer vision
- Research or industry experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or VR/AR
- Proficiency in developing systems using sensors such as IMU, camera, GPS, and LIDAR
- Expertise in parallel programming, system optimization, and real-time processing
- Published research in top-tier conferences or journals (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS)
