The Role
We are looking for excellent research interns to assist us in spearheading the design and development of cutting-edge AI models for dexterous robotic manipulation—a critical pillar in driving our go-to-market applications and advancing our vision of adaptable, multi-functional robots. Start-date flexible with preference for as soon as possible. This internship is 5 days (Mon-Fri) onsite for a minimum of 12 weeks in our Redwood City, CA office. In this position, you will collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to conduct world-class research and development.
Qualifications
- Applicants should be current students (Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or PhD)
- Strong programming experience and software engineering skills in Python, C/C++, or a similar language
- Proficiency with ML and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Jax
- Experience and/or passion in AI and robotics engineering
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to perform tasks necessary to ensure model or algorithm success in real-world applications
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience with training and using multi-modal foundation models
- Hands-on experience working with robotic hardware
- Familiarity and experience implementing robot learning papers
- High levels of creativity, productivity, and autonomy in research
- Strong algorithmic problem solving skills
