Job Description:
We are looking for 10 highly skilled Computer Vision Engineers to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge machine vision solutions for a next-generation mechatronic device. This role is fully remote, offering an exciting opportunity to work on advanced imaging systems, robotics, and automation.
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing complex algorithms for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and inspection. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and robotics engineers, to integrate vision systems into real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize computer vision and machine vision algorithms for object detection, segmentation, classification, and tracking.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate vision systems into automation frameworks.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of machine vision projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance of machine vision systems.
- Design and implement real-time image processing solutions for industrial automation and medical diagnostics.
- Train and optimize machine learning models to enhance automation and accuracy.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Stay ahead of advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and automation technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in classical image processing and computer vision.
- Strong expertise in machine vision libraries such as OpenCV.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and MATLAB for developing and optimizing image processing algorithms.
- Experience with Linux/Bash for handling large-scale image datasets.
- Hardware optimization experience across CPU and GPU architectures.
- Knowledge of camera technologies, lighting techniques, optics, and sensor integration.
- Strong understanding of feature extraction, pattern recognition, and real-time image processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep learning & neural network experience for vision-based automation.
- Experience in industrial automation or robotics.
- Prior exposure to real-time image processing for embedded systems.
- Experience in medical diagnostics and digital pathology automation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data security protocols.
