Akkodis is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer for a full time position on our dedicated team in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Will contribute to the development and enhancement of our AI-driven platforms. Qualified candidate should have at least 4 years of experience associated with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision is required along with being able to lead the team in India from our Detroit Metro lab.
Seeking an integration engineer, not a data scientist. Experience in building AI agents, fine-tuning models, and working with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Python is a must-have, with C/C++ being an added plus along with experience in large language models, data analytics, and AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, and Langgraph..
Pay Range: Up to $150,000/yr (salary commensurate based on experience and education levels).

Artificial Intelligence Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Develop AI solutions, AI Agents.
- Test, deploy, and maintain AI systems
- Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to integrate AI into broader system architectures
- Stay current on AI knowledge, trends, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Computer Science, experience in large language models, data analytics, and AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, and Langgraph.
- Qualified candidate should have at least 4 years of experience associated with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision is required along with being able to lead the team in India from our Detroit Metro lab. Our leadership is not an AI expert and is seeking an integration engineer, not a data scientist.
- Experience in building AI agents, fine-tuning models, and working with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Python is a must, with C/C++ being an added plus. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to build a system architecture.
- Experience in web-based frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask is preferred, as the engineer will need to build a GUI and integrate with LLMs.
- Cloud experience (GCP, AWS) is a bonus, as the tools will be orchestrated in the cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Stellar interpersonal skills.
