Overview
Intuit AI Research is hiring AI research interns to join our team of researchers to work on foundational AI problems that directly influence Intuit’s portfolio of fintech offerings to millions of consumers and small businesses. As a research intern at Intuit, you are expected to work on cutting edge AI technologies, leading to innovative solutions that push the state of the art in AI while improving our customer experience. Current areas of exploration include robust and trustworthy LLMs, neuro-symbolic methods for generative AI, knowledge representation and learning, and language agents for enterprise systems.
As an AI Research intern at Intuit, you will join a high-caliber team of research scientists, domain experts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to research and apply the latest innovation in relevant topics to develop advanced capabilities that serve our customers’ needs, both current and future.
This position is intended for students in a degree-seeking program, to which they will return at the end of the summer internship in 2025. The length of the internship is 12-14 weeks.
What you'll bring
- Currently enrolled in a PhD degree program in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Computational Linguistics or a related field.
- Experience in one area of AI (e.g., knowledge representation and learning, language agents, alignment, reinforcement learning, multimodal generative AI) is required.
- Established track record of publication, ideally demonstrated through first author publications in top tier AI conferences ( e.g. NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, AAAI, EMNLP, ACL, AISTATS, KDD)
- Experience with developing and debugging in Python with Tensorflow, Pytorch, or similar frameworks
- Experience in dissemination of scientific work in English through paper submissions, and conference presentations.
