JustinBradley’s client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in software engineering and data manipulation. In this role, you will work on designing, normalizing, and structuring databases to meet application requirements while ensuring seamless integration with NoSQL systems and data lakes. You will be responsible for building and optimizing machine-readable datasets, enabling efficient data analysis, and supporting AI/ML models across the organization.
*Hybrid to Plano, TX 1-2 times a week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, normalize, and maintain structured and unstructured data storage solutions, ensuring they meet application requirements.
- Construct datasets by combining raw information from multiple sources into consistent and machine-readable formats.
- Implement and optimize AI/ML pipelines, leveraging AWS SageMaker, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, and big data processing tools like Spark, Hive, and Airflow.
- Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database systems to support large-scale data ingestion and retrieval.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize AI/ML models and improve data processing efficiency.
- Develop scalable data solutions using AWS services to enable real-time and batch processing of large datasets.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in data engineering, software development, or AI/ML-related fields.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database normalization.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services, particularly AWS SageMaker.
- Deep understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for AI applications.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools like Spark, Hive, and Airflow.
- Expertise in both relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for optimizing data storage and retrieval performance.
- Experience integrating large-scale data systems into machine learning models.
- Professional certifications in AWS, AI/ML, or data engineering are a plus.
