We are looking for a Research Analyst to join our founding team. You will report to our Lead Research Analyst and help define our research reports and products, and write compelling research for investors and corporate development/strategy teams.
Your main tasks
- Use the company’s proprietary dataset, business publications, financial filings, etc. to write company and market reports across various Enterprise Technology sectors (e.g., Cybersecurity, Data Management, Analytics, AI/ML, and Enterprise Apps) for investment funds and corporate clients
- Effectively communicate actionable ideas and research to clients and prospects on calls, webinars, and events
- Develop forward-looking analyses and insights across various Enterprise Tech sectors
- Handle incoming requests for data and research from customers and prospects
- Conduct company and market research to develop a deep understanding of key business and industry drivers within Enterprise Tech
- Explore and stay informed of emerging trends, initiatives, and companies which are or who may become important innovators in the space
- Support go-to-market ideation, planning, and institution
- Create content for our newsletter
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-4 years professional experience in data-driven equity research, financial analysis, market research, and/or consulting roles
- In-depth knowledge of key Enterprise Technology industries, including Cybersecurity, Data Management, Analytics, AI/ML, and Enterprise Apps
- Long-form and short-form writing expertise required - you must be able to synthesize data and complex concepts into digestible, forward looking insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills - you should feel comfortable talking to investors and strategy clients as an authority on Enterprise Tech
- Proficiency in SQL and managing/analyzing large data sets
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Product management experience and demonstrated sense of ownership
