Your Adventure at Azra AI:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic Azra AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and transforming data from multiple sources, performing in-depth analysis, and delivering actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. You will work with advanced tools like SQL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Python, Tableau, and others to visualize and communicate findings, while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and relevance of the data. You will also leverage predictive analytics to uncover trends and forecast future outcomes, supporting data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:1. Data Extraction and Transformation:
- Query and extract data from PostgreSQL and BigQuery databases.
- Transform raw data into structured formats for analysis, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and relevance.
- Design and implement data pipelines to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL processes).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions tailored to business needs.
2. Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights that inform business decisions.
- Use tools like Tableau and Power BI to create interactive and impactful data visualizations that communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
3. SQL Expertise:
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to gather, clean, and analyze data from PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and other sources.
- Ensure queries are efficient, scalable, and capable of handling large datasets.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve database schema and data models.
4. Predictive Analytics:
- Utilize Python and Jupyter Notebooks to perform predictive analytics, building models that forecast future trends and outcomes.
- Work with machine learning frameworks and libraries to develop models for regression, classification, and time series forecasting.
- Continuously refine and test models to improve prediction accuracy.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Document analytical processes, methodologies, and results in clear and comprehensive reports.
- Ensure transparency and reproducibility of findings, including maintaining proper version control of datasets, code, and models.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on key data trends, insights, and predictive analytics results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in SQL, including query optimization and working with PostgreSQL and BigQuery databases.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with Python for data analysis, predictive modeling, and working with Jupyter Notebooks.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working with ETL tools and processes is a plus.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to uncover insights from large, complex datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data findings and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related role, with a focus on SQL and data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with big data tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Experience working with data pipelines, automation, and data warehousing.
