Job Description
BLEND360 seeks a Data Scientist to support a Fortune 100 client, a global leader in healthcare and retail pharmacy services, as they innovate and develop industry-leading analytics, data, and technology platforms to help reimagine healthcare. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic business solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

- Location: Hybrid in Manhattan, NYC (3 days per week onsite required)

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute algorithms, deliver price recommendations, maintain bookkeeping, and generate monthly and ad-hoc reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Prepare process documentation, including data dictionaries, file specifications, ERDs, wireframes, and pseudocode.
- Recommend improvements for data management processes, metric definitions, and evaluation methods.
- Conduct analyses within a relational database environment, including developing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Build customer-facing dashboards by integrating data from multiple sources and systems.
- Perform verification and validation testing to ensure outputs meet functional requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Conduct in-depth analyses using healthcare claims and services data.
Qualifications
Required:
- No less than 3 years of US experience in business insights, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience in programming in Python or R.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences; experience creating communication materials (memos, slide decks, etc.).
Preferred:
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for exploring data to drive business impact.
- Experience with healthcare or pharmaceutical data.
- Advanced knowledge of analytics tools and languages to analyze complex data from multiple sources.
- Ability to identify roadblocks, assess potential risks, and propose solutions.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field is a plus.
