We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for extracting actionable insights from large and complex datasets, and a proven track record of applying advanced analytical techniques to solve real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define business problems that can be addressed through data analysis and modeling.
- Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights from data.
- Develop predictive models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions to optimize business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive business outcomes.
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses, evaluate model performance, and measure the impact of data-driven initiatives.
- Run causal impact models for experiments and analyses to understand and predict the effects of different actions on key performance indicators.
- Execute a marketing mix modeling process to optimize allocation across various marketing channels and measure ROI effectively.
- Create customer models focused on acquisition and retention, leveraging data to build strategies that enhance customer engagement and lifetime value.
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytical capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, and hands-on experience with statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
