Quantum5 / Ander is reimagining the employee experience. As our Data Scientist, you will be a highly motivated individual who will use data to oversee, nurture, and drive Q5's/Ander’s community, product, and business strategy. You will identify opportunities, synthesize data, and communicate to and empower the Ander team through timely, validated, actionable data, visualization, and analysis.
We will rely on you to extract valuable business insights to drive advancements in our tech stack and the adult learning and performance support solutions it provides. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling will help our company and our clients improve learner proficiency and business results. Youwill strive to ensure Ander meets the highest data quality standards and demonstrates uncompromising adherence to data privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to engagement and learning as it impacts job performance
- Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to forecast target audience and individual learner needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our offerings
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden opportunities and address potential issues
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and support decision-making processes
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field
- X+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or predictive modeling
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant data science tools; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Analytical mind and business acumen
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
