Data Scientist Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Using multi-layered data sets to solve complicated issues, as well as improving current machine learning tools and frameworks.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and machine learning experiments to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize data science initiatives.
- Develop and maintain best practices for machine learning model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Data Science machine learning tools and techniques and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Creating self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software and machine learning systems to automate prediction models Performing tests, statistical analysis, and interpreting test findings are all part of the job.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science and machine learning, with a focus on developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Track record of deploying user facing ML features in production.
- Experience working with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models, etc.
- Expertise of SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages, such as Matlab, R, SAS or Python.
- Creating self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software and machine learning systems to automate prediction models.
- Degree in math, statistics, computer science or other quantitative discipline.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and services for machine learning （Databricks, MLFlow).
