JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting routine business intelligence analysis and utilizing basic machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from our data. You will work closely with senior data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.
This is a full time, exempt, field-based/office based/remote role tied to the Chesterbrook, PA office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and implement basic machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and classification tasks.
- Assist in the design and execution of A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different business strategies.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis and machine learning.
- Generate dashboards and reports to provide business insights
- Assist with calculations and predictions required to design and implement the incentive compensation plan
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Knowledge:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Data modeling skills.
- Understanding of basic data warehouse patterns (e.g., star schema, slowly changing dimension).
- Familiarity with data pipelines and integrations.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience generating reproducible reports.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Proficient with programming languages used for data analysis such as Python or R.
- Proficient in the Python or R packages required for data science
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint.
- Previous internship or work experience in a data-related role.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
