Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge AI vision systems. This is a full-time remote position working directly with our engineering team and CTO to drive technical innovation and mentor junior engineers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture and development of production-grade computer vision systems
- Drive research initiatives and experimental design to advance our AI servicing systems
- Build scalable data processing pipelines for training and validation
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on vision projects
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience developing computer vision systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Expert-level Python programming and software architecture skills
- Deep understanding of modern computer vision algorithms and architectures
- Proven track record of deploying ML models to production
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Excellence in technical communication and documentation
Required Technical Skills
- Production experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Advanced knowledge of image processing and computer vision techniques
- Expertise in building scalable ML training and inference pipelines
- Proficiency with version control and CI/CD practices
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed computing
Nice to Have
- Publications in computer vision or machine learning
- Experience with edge deployment of vision systems
- Contributions to open-source computer vision projects
- Background in specialized domains like 3D vision, SLAM, or video understanding
