Our Emotion API enables companies to integrate emotional intelligence into their systems, transforming interactions and driving impactful user experiences. We’re seeking a dynamic Technical Lead to spearhead API integrations and technical collaborations with hyperscalers, enterprise clients, and vertical-specific partners.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will play a critical role in supporting Neurologyca’s growth by leading technical integration projects, collaborating with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) as well as enterprise and vertical-specific clients in gaming, operating systems, ad-tech, health & wellness, and public safety. You will work closely with Neurologyca’s CTO and technical team (based in Spain) and report to the Chief Strategy Officer (based in San Francisco).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Integration: Lead and oversee the implementation of Neurologyca’s Emotion API with US-based clients, ensuring compatibility across cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), on-premises, and on-device environments.
- Client Collaboration: Work directly with engineering and product teams at hyperscalers and enterprise clients to identify requirements, customize integrations, and provide technical guidance.
- Vertical Expertise: Develop tailored solutions for clients in key verticals, including gaming, ad-tech, health & wellness, operating systems, and public safety.
- Scalability & Optimization: Ensure API integrations are optimized for performance, latency, and security, catering to both real-time and post-processing use cases.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Neurologyca’s technical and business teams to align technical strategies with business objectives and market needs.
- Documentation & Enablement: Create and maintain integration guides, technical documentation, and best practices to support developers, hyperscalers, and vertical-specific partners.
- Innovation & Insights: Identify opportunities to expand API capabilities based on industry trends, client feedback, and specific vertical use cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting roles.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and edge/on-device technologies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, natural language processing (NLP), or emotion AI is a plus.
Vertical Knowledge: Experience working with clients in gaming, ad-tech, operating systems, health & wellness, or public safety is highly desirable.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hyperscalers and enterprise clients.
Language Skills: Bilingual, English/Spanish is highly preferred to support global communication and collaboration.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
Location: Remote within the SF Bay Area.
