We are looking for an experienced Computer Vision Specialist to develop and optimize vision-based navigation, tracking, and perception systems for robotics and autonomous applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenCV, Photon Vision, Aruco/April Tag, and experience in embedded systems and mobile app development (Android/iOS). This role requires strong problem-solving skills in real-time image processing, sensor fusion, and AI-driven perception.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms using OpenCV, Photon Vision, Aruco/April Tag for object detection, tracking, and navigation.
- Develop real-time vision systems for robotics, autonomous systems, and embedded platforms.
- Optimize image processing pipelines for edge devices and embedded systems.
- Work on sensor fusion (IMU, GPS, LiDAR, cameras) for enhanced perception and localization.
- Develop mobile applications (Android/iOS) for vision-based control and telemetry.
- Integrate vision models with ROS, PX4, Ardupilot, or other robotic frameworks.
- Optimize deep learning models for real-time inference on edge hardware (Jetson, FPGA, etc.).
- Conduct real-world testing and validation of vision-based navigation and control systems.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in computer vision, robotics, or embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in OpenCV, Photon Vision, and Aruco/April Tag for real-time vision applications.
- Experience with Python, C++, or embedded C for vision-based processing.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion, SLAM, and autonomous navigation techniques.
- Experience in mobile app development (Android/iOS) for vision-based applications.
- Familiarity with ROS, PX4, or Ardupilot for robotic vision integration.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time OS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI-based object recognition and deep learning for vision.
- Knowledge of edge AI deployment (Jetson, FPGA, or TPU-based processing).
- Familiarity with robotic flight control, stabilization, and motion planning.
- Hands-on experience with IoT connectivity, 5G, or RF communication for vision-based systems.
