What You’ll Do
Develop Machine Learning Models (90%)
- Curate, pre-process, and evaluate training datasets and design ML metrics tailored to real-world applications.
- Prototype and refine generative models, contribute to shared codebases, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers.
- Partner with biologists to design wet lab testing campaigns and iteratively improve models based on experimental results.
- Maintain and optimize computational infrastructure for ML development.
Learn and Grow (10%)
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI.
- Build a working knowledge of protein and cell biology.
- Share knowledge through presentations, internal discussions, and participation in industry conferences.
Who You Are
Ideal Candidate Profile
You’re an accomplished machine learning researcher with:
- A strong background in generative modeling, demonstrated by contributions to major open-source libraries, product launches, or high-impact publications.
- Expertise in building, training, and optimizing machine learning models.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, and experience with cloud-based ML workflows.
- A passion for optimizing performance at the intersection of hardware and software.
